Services Held for Miller
Funeral services for SM. Sgt. Ralph E. Miller, 57, of 402 Horne in Duncanville, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist Church of Duncanville. Military graveside services were held in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Sgt. Miller died Wednesday at Perrin Air Force Base in Sherman. The Milam County native served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the European Theater of Operations and with the European Army of Occupation until 1951. He was stationed in Munich during the Berlin air lift. Sgt. Miller recently returned from a tour if duty in Labrador and was to have retired in March. He was formerly stationed in Duncanville before going to Labrador. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jimmie Miller; a daughter, Mrs. Marlene Machina of Belleville, MI, his mother, Mrs. J.M. Byers of Irving; his father, Dan M. Miller of Edan; two brothers, Richard T. Miller of Dallas and Charles Lum of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. Frances Wochner of Irving, and two grandchildren.

FARMINGTON—Three juveniles arrested in Albuquerque the first of the week for pilfering cars have been turned over to juvenile authorities. The boys admitted having rifled about 3O cars in Farmington, according to City investigator Marvln Mosley of the Farmington police force. Mosley and Undersheriff Fred Moss who have been questioning the boys, aged 5 to 17, said they were members of a of gang of several juveniles, five of whom have been involved before in other incidents. The officers said about $150 worth of the loot has been recovered and the amount they have admitted taking probably would amount to about $5OO.
